Treasure Island Beach Cleanup

 

The Pinellas County Property Appraiser’s Office (PCPAO) forged a relationship with Treasure Island Adopt-A-Beach for their early Spring Clean. Everyone who participated enjoyed a lovely morning on the one of the country’s finest beaches doing some real good for our residents, visitors, and environment. In the end, the several dozen PAO volunteers picked up over 350 pounds of trash!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Habitat for Humanity Build

 

Several staff members from the Pinellas County Property Appraiser’s Office (PCPAO) volunteered on a Saturday to help in the construction of a Habitat for Humanity build in downtown Clearwater. In the spirit of teamwork and camaraderie, the gang of volunteer PCPAO builders proudly wore matching t-shirts with the slogan, “We don’t just appraise our community…we help build it!” Beautiful weather, a hardworking crew, extremely helpful project managers, and a lovely new homeowner all made for an absolutely fantastic day!

 

 

 

 

Silver Santa Donations

 

During the holiday season, the Pinellas County Property Appraiser’s office got into full holiday mode for their annual holiday charity drive. The charity chosen was Silver Santas of Pinellas County. This worthy cause provides gifts to seniors who may be forgotten during the holidays as identified by professional guardians, social workers, senior community/activity directors and health care providers serving the senior population. The office ‘adopted’ 29 seniors and filled bags with their requested items (pajamas, blankets, shampoo, body wash, etc...). In addition, the deserving seniors also received some tasty goodies not requested to help make their holiday brighter.

 

 

Ridgecrest School Drive

 

The Pinellas County Property Appraiser’s Office is proud to support local students! Our staff raised over $500 to purchase folders, pencils, crayons, and other essential school supplies for a Pinellas County school in need. These supplies will help give students the tools they need to start the year strong, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of our team.
